So Funny! is produced by Joan Andrews and pre-recorded
at Lake Effect Radio studios in Cleveland and New York City. As
host of the show since 2005, Dave Schwensen's lively
conversations, (rather than interviews), with many of today's
top comedy stars offers a behind the scenes look at the noble
profession of making audiences laugh. Each show is unique with
only one requirement - the guest comedian does not "do his
or her act" on the air. We leave that for the other shows.
Instead, we focus on career experiences, comedy influences and
advice on what to do - and sometimes what not to
do - to be successful in the humor business. The results are
just as funny and listeners don't have to worry about paying
admission, parking or a two drink minimum.

Wali Collins, Bobby Collins and dozens more. What's So Funny!
also features the best stand-up on the air with selected tracks
from the guest's comedy CDs, their comedy influences and
comedian friends. Favorites include Bill Cosby, Jerry Seinfeld,
Jeff Foxworthy and others we're sure you've heard of and laughed
at. For an extra dose of humor, the studio microphones are left
on during these segments so the guest comedian can add comments,
insights or just laugh along with our listeners.
